2026 LBRCA Young Driver of the Year Award
Nominations are now open for the 2026 LBRCA Young Driver of the Year Award, recognising the next generation of outstanding heavy vehicle drivers.
The Award celebrates young drivers who demonstrate best-practice driving behaviours, a strong commitment to safety, and professionalism across the heavy vehicle industry—particularly within the livestock, bulk and rural transport sectors.
Nominations are open now and close at the end of this month.
The successful recipient will be appointed as the LBRCA Young Driver of the Year and will represent young drivers across the Association, taking on the role of a safety ambassador for the industry over the next 12 months. In this role, the winner will help promote safe driving practices, professionalism, and positive career pathways within the heavy vehicle sector.

Prize and Recognition
The 2026 LBRCA Young Driver of the Year will receive:
An industry study tour valued at $7,000, supporting professional development and exposure to best-practice operations
Recognition as a leader and ambassador for young drivers within the industry
In addition, all finalists will receive complimentary full registration to the 2026 LBRCA Annual Conference, to be held in Coffs Harbour from 26–28 February 2026, providing valuable networking, learning, and industry engagement opportunities.
