LBRCA supports the Australian Fuel Security Reserve (AFSR) in
principle but believes the model must do more than merely increase national stockholdings. It must
materially improve fuel resilience in regional, rural and remote Australia, where supply chains are
more exposed to long distances, single-corridor dependencies and natural disaster disruption.
