The Australian Government has confirmed that from 1 April to 30 June 2026, the fuel excise will be halved and the Heavy Vehicle Road User Charge (RUC) reduced to zero. These measures are expected to deliver immediate financial relief, particularly for operators managing ongoing cash flow pressures in a high-cost environment.
