James Papworth is a dedicated livestock transport operator whose passion for trucking and agriculture has driven him to build a strong and diverse foundation within the transport industry. Holding qualifications as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, a Certificate III in Agriculture, Basic Fatigue Management accreditation and NSW Livestock Loading certification, James combines practical mechanical expertise with a deep understanding of agricultural and livestock operations. His interest in transport began as a child travelling alongside his father while carting cattle, experiences that inspired a lifelong enthusiasm for trucks and livestock transport. After completing his diesel mechanic apprenticeship, James expanded his career into driving, gaining experience transporting machinery throughout the Northern Territory before joining Martins Stock Haulage’s junior driver development program.

Over the past several years, James has demonstrated a strong commitment to learning, professionalism and continuous improvement. His training in livestock loading and mass management, combined with hands-on experience, has equipped him with the skills to calculate livestock weights, manage load capacities and maintain compliance with safety requirements. He places significant emphasis on fatigue management, workplace safety and hazard reporting, understanding the importance of protecting both workers and livestock. Known for his positive attitude, strong communication skills and willingness to learn, James has earned the respect of colleagues and customers alike. Looking ahead, he hopes to continue driving throughout Australia, either as an owner/operator or within the livestock sector, contributing to the future of the industry through his passion, dedication and commitment to excellence.
